Mini Dino 2k Challenge

We have a new virtual medal challenge. It’s the Not so Mini Dinosaur Challenge. Our follow on to the popular mini Roman Running Challenge and 3k Your Way! 
 
To earn this awesome triceratops inspired medal you and anyone doing the challenge with you need to go a minimum of 2km, so any length over 2km is acceptable. You can do this in any number of activities within reason (please within reason, having to certify a cm at a time would be...... ).
 
This challenge is suitable for people of all sizes including children. We hope this also works for people getting into running or those who like running for shiny things but not that far or even those who need some motivation to help with walks! Like the mini Roman Challenge you can enter as a team with your nearest and dearest or friends socially distanced. Remember to respect the social distance for all others out of your household (or bubble) while out exercising responsibly.
 
You, and any other people little person/people present, need to run/go at least 2km. You only need one person to run or walk per team so if other people can’t be persuaded off their bikes or scooters that’s fine. Remember, if you need walk breaks that’s fine. Overall a responsible adult must be present to accompany any child/children taking part.
 
To enter you need to choose a team name, you could use your name from the last challenge though these medals obviously have a young triceratops on them. You also need to tell us your favourite dinosaur. Results will show :
Team Neptune Legion Rides Again: James, Liz, Mary and Pip (you don't have to tell them they can't ride yet)   Favourite Dinosaur = Stegosaurus
 
When you've completed the challenge then send the evidence to us.  To make it easy that evidence can be any of the following: strava, garmin link, screenshot, photo of your watch screen at the end of the activity so we know how far you went, how long it took and when it was.   You only need support evidence for one of the team like the responsible adult so don’t worry about having to have tracking for everyone.
 
Medals normally go out the following Thursday after receiving your evidence.
This event runs now until we either sellout or the end of the event period. We did sellout of the mini roman and we only have 100 of these at present.
